Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's rooms were a great base for shopping or travel, although the loud music until midnight was a bit overwhelming, especially without air conditioning for hot weather. The rooms were large and well-equipped overall. Service was top-notch, with quick problem resolution and elegant, friendly staff. The location was pleasant, with easy access to transportation into the heart of Chester, but inconsistencies in cleanliness, especially with some mold in the bathroom, were noticeable. The dining experience offered average food quality, but the staff's service was excellent. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel room had some issues like an unfinished window leading to noise from the road and loose bathroom floor tiles in what was meant to be a new room. On the positive side, it was spacious with a large, comfortable bed, tea and coffee-making facilities, cold water, biscuits, hairdryer, toiletries, and a fridge. The room had a nice feel and outlook.
I had a lovely surprise with the rooms at this hotel. The distanced tables were a thoughtful touch, but I wish there was a separate sitting area or at least a comfortable sofa within the main room. Overall, the room was very comfortable.
The hotel offers spacious, clean, warm, and comfortable rooms with a large bathroom and a comfy big bed. However, the temperatures downstairs were quite high, while our bedroom felt a bit cold at times. The service was professional, attentive, and always accommodating, with excellent-friendly staff. The location is in a quiet part of the village, making it easy to explore other places, although the in-house cleaning could be improved. The dining experience was okay, but there were issues with overcooked food. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service in a convenient location.
The hotel offers a spacious room with a nice bathroom, although it would benefit from a makeover. The furniture was clean but could use upgrading. The service was exceptional, especially accommodating a last-minute booking. The location was ideal for our visit to Wrexham, with nearby shops and pubs. The dining experience was satisfactory under current safety guidelines.
